Wedding Cards Information

When a typically modern marrying couple begins to deal with wedding cards, what usually comes to mind is the wedding invitation. But the wedding invitation is not the only wedding card that the couple may need. They may need other wedding cards. Thus, here is a list of wedding cards that a couple may need for the most awaited ceremony of their lives. Each wedding card has its own purpose and characteristics. And the marrying couple must decide whether they will need the one type of wedding card or not.

- Save the Date This wedding card is for guests who live in far places and who needs a longer time to make their travel arrangements in order to attend the wedding. The
Save the Date simply contains the names of the bride and groom, the date, and the location of the wedding. Usually, a note in this wedding card assures the guest that a wedding invitation will be sent later.

- Wedding Invitation This wedding card is the one which will always be present in all weddings. Creating the wedding invitation is an intricate process that reflects the style or motif of the wedding. The wedding invitation not only shows the couple's names and their parents, but also the names of the people who are actively involved in the wedding ceremony, such as the maid of honor, the bridesmaids, the best man, the groomsmen, and the sponsors. Of course, the wedding invitation includes the date, time, and location of the ceremony. Many wedding invitations include information about the reception.

- Reply Card This wedding card is considered optional by many marrying couples, especially if they are expecting all their invited guests to attend the wedding ceremony. However, the reply card is important if the couple is considering a sit-down dinner at the reception. In such a reception, the number of attending guests should be finalized. So that the invited guests can send back the reply card, the couple should include a stamp.

- Wedding Service Program This wedding card contains more details about the wedding ceremony. Some wedding service programs show all the words at the ceremony, including the wedding vows of the couple. For some parts of the wedding ceremony which are not familiar to many guests, these can be explained and elaborated on the wedding service program.

- Thank You Card
This wedding card is important to show appreciation of the guest who spent time, effort, and money in order to attend the wedding. Thank you cards are best if they contain handwritten notes, thanking the guest for the wedding gift.

- Information Pack The information pack is an additional wedding card for guests who are strangers to the place where the wedding will be held. This contains directions towards the church and the reception. If preparing every wedding card will eat up a lot of precious time for the couple, then they should consider hiring a company who is knowledgeable and experienced in making these wedding cards.
